Thanks to Stephen Deusner and Paste for including us in their latest issue, with both a thoughtful article on the band as well as me writing about some film music I like and trying not to sound dumb. Enjoy!
This mural for the Prince Avalanche soundtrack went up the other day on the wall outside The Turkey’s Nest in Greenpoint, pretty awesome! Check out the time-lapse video that captures the painting of it below…thanks to Jeremy at Temporary Residence and of course Esteban Rey for his lovely art.

We are stoked as all hell to be playing Fun Fun Fun fest this coming November! It might be the only outdoor music festival that I truly enjoy going to and I feel so fortunate that they’ve chosen to have us play it this year. Not to mention that the Orange Stage which we’ll be playing on will also be seeing not only the likes of several of my all-time musical idols in Johnny Marr, Television, and Thurston Moore but some of our other favorite bands like The Walkmen, Deerhunter, etc etc. Craziness, so so excited. Passes on sale now!
I am excited for everyone to hear this remix of Staying In that my frequent film score collaborator Jeff McIlwian (a.k.a Lusine) recently did. Thanks to Jeff for doin it, thanks to Urb for postin it, enjoy!
